CORY BLOODGOOD, MSF
Associate Director of Investment Operations & Research Analyst
Cory Bloodgood joined BCWM in 2014 as a Para Planner. He passed the final of three exams required to obtain a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2015. Cory may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience.
Cory’s reliability and precision focus quickly moved him into the position he holds at BCWM today. Cory is the backbone of our back office support, executing complex daily processes that Laura Carley established by our portfolio management team, to manage hundreds of portfolios.
Cory plays a critical role in tasks ranging from front-end compliance and corporate actions to data integrity and trade support. In operations, Cory works closely with our Vice President of Investment Operations, to ensure data integrity, trade processing accuracy, collateral management and corporate actions. Cory’s responsibilities also involve constructing portfolios, analyzing results, managing data, security valuations and compliance analysis, which are crucial elements in portfolio management.
Before joining BCWM, Cory was a Business Analyst in Investor Relations for The Williams Companies. He earned a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from the University of Tulsa and his Bachelor of Science in business administration in finance from University of Central Missouri, where he was honored with the NCAA Elite 88 Award, UCM Vernon Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding Senior Male Student-Athlete, and was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American Wrestler.
Cory resides in Overland Park, KS with his wife and daughter.
