JEN BARKER, MBA
Client Service Representative
As our Client Service Representative, Jen is in charge of setting up and maintaining client accounts; compiling and completing client, custodian and firm documentation; and executing client and firm tasks, including asset transfers, report preparation and completing philanthropic gifts.
Jen brings her high level of organization to our firm, which ensures team and client requests are promptly and accurately handled, appropriate associates are informed of completed activities and follow up is completed. Simply put, she makes sure even the smallest requests are handled with care. Prior to joining BCWM, Jen was a Senior Mutual Fund Representative and a Client Relations Specialist for Boston Financial Data Services. It was in these roles that she sharpened her meticulous research and client relations skills, being awarded promotions and positions on specific teams over the years.
Outside of the office, Jen is very active in philanthropy. She is a member of the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, serving on the Action Team to manage volunteer requests to the League from other non-profits in the Kansas City area and as its former Finance Council Research Assistant. Jen is serving as the League’s 2016-2017 website and e-blast coordinator. Every year, she sells “Wild Child” adoptions during the Kansas City Zoo’s largest annual fundraiser, Jazzoo, and was its most successful 2011 volunteer. Jen was selected to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Kansas City Alumnae Association’s Nominating Committee in 2015 and is involved with Kappa Holiday Homes Tour.
Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Master of Business Administration, Marketing and Business Management from Rockhurst University.
