One of BCWM’s core values is Continuous Improvement. Internally, we constantly strive to improve our ability to exceed our clients’ expectations and deliver them peace of mind. Externally, we strive to make a positive impact on those around us in our community.

Over the past three years alone, BCWM has supported over 60 different charitable causes with both time and money. The missions of these organizations are near and dear to our individual and collective hearts. In some cases, because we know someone affected by a disease or hardship. In other cases, because an illness or event has dramatically and directly affected our own lives.

Eric Clark and Ron Copeland

Proudly Supporting Veterans and Their Families

In February, BCWM was honored to host a book signing for our client and published author, Ron Copeland. Ron’s book, “Sons of the Greatest Generation”, is a first-hand account of his experiences as a young draftee at the height of the Vietnam War. Those in attendance at the book signing were able to learn more about some of Ron’s motives for writing the book. He has a desire to educate people about the quality of the men with whom he served in Vietnam and simply describes them as “good boys from every corner of our country”. If you would like to learn more about Ron or his book, visit RonCopelandAuthor.com.

For every book sold at the event, BCWM made a matching contribution to the Fisher House Foundation, which provides military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. More information about Fisher House and its mission can be found at FisherHouse.org.

Change the World in One Week – Participate in SevenDays®

One organization we regularly support is directly connected to our BCWM family.

In the wake of three murders in Overland Park on April 13, 2014, Mindy Corporon, our CEO, and her family opened the Faith Always Wins Foundation to honor her son and father, two of the three victims.

In early 2015, the Faith Always Wins Foundation, along with a group of caring individuals, made it their mission to challenge our community to come together and end senseless acts of hate.

They created SevenDays® Make a Ripple, Change the World, which is celebrating its third anniversary this April. SevenDays® is a challenge for people of all ages to embrace diversity across race, religion and culture. SevenDays® offers a variety of events throughout the month of April which encourage community members to unite and engage with one another, promote interfaith dialogue, discover commonalities – rather than differences – and embrace the belief that acts of kindness can, indeed, overcome evil. The week of events culminates with a Faith, Love, & Walk supported by community members from all walks of faith, color and culture. BCWM is proud to sponsor SevenDays® again this April and encourages members of our community to help create ripples of kindness to change the world.

Visit GiveSevenDays.org to learn more about how you can volunteer, participate, enter competitions, register for the walk and more.
